Tasting Notes

Nebbiolo is a rare find in the Walla Walla Valley, and famous in the Piedmont region of Northwest Italy for producing some of the finest and longest-lived wines in Italy. Do not let the light, translucent color in the glass fool you! This approachable wine opens with intense aromatics of wild rose petals, cherry fruit, tobacco, licorice, and tar, followed by delicious flavors of red currant, strawberry, and cranberry. Both savory and fruity characteristics are present in this wine. The fruit and acidity are balanced beautifully with supple, round tannins. Enjoy!
