Saviah Estate Vineyard
Saviah Estate Vineyard has two beautiful acres of Viognier vines which encompass the picturesque Saviah tasting room in Walla Walla. Running alongside Peppers Bridge Road on the west side of the property are the oldest Viognier vines, planted in 2014 and 2016. Our first vintage of 100% Viognier was also made from these vines and fermented in our concrete eggs to produce just 60 cases of this stellar white wine.
The South side of the Walla Walla Valley AVA
Autanum silt loam
A cool site located on the valley floor just north of the Oregon State line. Average precipitation is 15 inches. A wide diurnal range in temperature allows the Viognier to achieve perfect physiological ripeness with lower Brix while retaining fresh acidity.
