Handpicked and hand sorted fruit crushed into small open top stainless steel tanks. The cap was punched down three times per day by hand. Free run juice was transferred to French oak barrels to complete fermentation.

18 months in French oak barrels. 20% New.
Tasting Notes
The 2021 Tempranillo displays distinctive Rocks District influenced aromas with a core of ripe red fruits which dance elegantly along with savory notes of umami and soy underscored by a whisper of leather. Delicate floral notes of violet add a touch of finesse to the bouquet. The palate is a symphony of flavors, where dark fruit takes center stage amidst a backdrop of earthy nuances and spice. Layers of black cherry, plum, and dried figs intermingle seamlessly with notes of tobacco and oak, resulting in a palate of remarkable depth and complexity. The finish is persistent, with lingering impressions of ripe fruit and savory spice, leaving an indelible mark on the senses.
