Tasting Notes

This Barbera grown at Dugger Creek Vineyard opens with raspberry, red cherry, vanilla bean, and smoke aromas which evolve into buttery shortbread, petrichor, and nutmeg. Rich flavors of strawberry, black cherry liqueur, and dried herbs combine with the warming notes of baking spice and pepper for a full mouthfeel. The racy acidity makes this wine a perfect pairing for barbecue or tomato-rich Italian classics.  Enjoy!
