Small open top stainless steel tanks. The cap was punched down three times per day by hand. Free run juice was transferred to French oak barrels to complete fermentation.

17 months in French oak barrels, 20% new

Tasting Notes

Displaying lovely Rocks-influenced characteristics, this Tempranillo shines. Cocoa, mushroom, rose petal, and earth aromas are enhanced by barrel spice and ripe red fruit notes. On the palate, smoked meat, black fruits and bright cherry flavors are emboldened by a distinctive minerality and a supremely long, spice-dusted finish.
