Stillwater Creek Vineyard
Very slowly fermented in 225 Liter French oak barrels. The lees were stirred weekly to contribute to a rich mouth feel. Secondary fermentation was encouraged until the acidity was perfectly balanced.
9 months in French oak barrels, 20% new Chassagne-Montrachet style
One of our favorite vintages of this wine! 2018 provided near perfect growing conditions, and this Chardonnay grown at a higher elevation site, was ideally ripened delivering intense fruit flavors and beautiful acidity. It begins with lovely aromas of Asian pear, gala apple and a hint of citrus which lead to flavors of crisp fruit, pineapple and creamy lemon.
